Becky Hauk
Transitioning from a volunteer fundraiser to a career in fundraising and development, Becky’s professional work has been primarily in higher education. She has worked in fundraising and development for the University of Missouri-St. Louis, Washington University in St. Louis and Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. As both a volunteer and development professional, Becky has helped nonprofit organizations achieve their fundraising goals for over thirty years. She currently works part-time as a nonprofit search consultant, helping nonprofit organizations find fundraising professionals. Becky has brought her knowledge of fundraising to several nonprofit organizations and has served on the Board of Directors for Kids in the Middle, Haven of Grace, Junior League of St. Louis, and The Arts & Education Council of St. Louis. She currently serves on the Board of the Bach Society of Saint Louis where she chairs the Legacy Giving committee. In the Bluffton/Hilton Head area, Becky is on the Board for the Junior League of Savannah Lowcountry Sustainer’s group and The League of the Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra.
Becky and her husband, Bill, are the proud parents of a son, who is a professor in the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina, and a daughter who works in the marketing and communications area at Edward Jones. They are also proud grandparents of two boys, one of whom is on the Autism Spectrum. When not volunteering her time, Becky enjoys playing Canasta and Mahjong, along with reading and playing 9 holes of golf.
