Parent's Afternoon Out -- February 22nd 2pm-4pm (Coastal Gymnastics) 

Lowcountry Autism Foundation presents, "Parent's Afternoon Out" a 2-hour respite offered monthly to parents of children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.  Our new home for this program is Coastal Gymnastics Center in Bluffton.  Parents may enjoy a 2 hour break, where they may go out on a much needed date or spend quality time with the other siblings. This event is only open to children ages 3 to 12 who are diagnosed with ASD.  We do not accept neurotypical siblings.  Please be sure to pack a bag of any needed items such as diapers, wipes, change of clothes, soothing toy, etc... Please let us know of any allergies and/or special medical needs. The following forms are required to be filled out. Please fill out prior to the event to save on registration time.

Pizza and Peers -- January 30th 5pm-6:15pm (Local Pie)

Attention Teens and Adults with ASD! Come join us for a pizza-making social on Thursday,  January 30th from 5:00pm- 6:15pm at Local Pie-Bluffton, 15 State of Mind Street, Bluffton, SC 29910. Staff and volunteers from LAF and Pockets Full of Sunshine will be on hand to assist and help facilitate conversation!

Station 300, Lowcountry Autism Foundation and Pockets Full of Sunshine are teaming up for the annual Pizza and Peers Ugly Christmas Sweater Event! Autism and the Arts presents a Sensory Friendly Nutcracker Suite on November 16th at 2:30pm! In partnership with Hilton Head Dance School/Theatre, LAF will be able to provide access to a shortened sensory-viewing of the Nutcracker. This show is for the ENTIRE family and you can expect it to last about an hour. Sensory needs will be taken into consideration (lights, sounds, etc), and there will be space to take breaks and rejoin. 

The goal is to provide art experiences without fear, shame or concerns that your child's needs won't be met. 

The entire family is invited and there is NO COST TO YOU! Please register and provide the number of individuals that will be attending with you (parents, siblings, therapists, etc).
